Our battery cases are simple to use, but it helps to see one in action. Below you'll find a short how-to video for each of our battery cases, along with a few tips for keeping your spare batteries fresh and ready to go.
How every case works
All of our battery cases work the same basic way:
- Slide the lid open. The lid slides back to reveal the battery compartments.
- Drop in your batteries. Each battery gets its own custom-fitted spot, sized for that exact battery, so it sits snugly and doesn't rattle around.
- Slide the lid closed. Your spares are now protected and organized, ready for a pocket, purse or bag.
- Grab one when you need it. Slide the lid back and take out a fresh battery.
Every case is made for one specific battery size, so be sure to pick the one that matches your batteries. Batteries are not included.
Hearing aid battery cases
Not sure which size you use? Check the color of the sticker tab on your batteries: yellow is Size 10, brown is 312, orange is 13 and blue is 675. Our hearing aid battery size guide explains more.

Tips for keeping spare batteries fresh
- Hearing aid batteries: leave the sticker tab on until you're ready to use one. Once the tab comes off, the battery starts to drain.
- Store at room temperature in a dry place. Avoid hot cars and the refrigerator.
- Keep spares away from keys and coins. That's exactly what the case is for: loose batteries touching metal can short out and drain.
- Keep a case where you'll need it, like in your purse, glove box or travel bag, so a dead battery never leaves you stuck.
- Keep batteries away from children and pets. Button and coin batteries are dangerous if swallowed. If you think a child has swallowed one, get medical help right away. In the U.S. you can also call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222.
